simplistification: Project Mingalabar This June, my friends and I are going to travel to Myanmar to do some charity work at 3 selected orphanages - Tender Love Orphanage, Shalom Youth Orphanage, and New Generation Orphanage. These three orphanages are within the Yangon area, and are all under the umbrella of Myanmar Vision International. We want to help these kids grow up in a healthy living and learning environment, and so we wanted to improve their basic amenities as well as helping to spark the love for knowledge in them. Things we are looking to provide include: Personal Storage Boxes Mosquito Nets Pillows and Mattresses Books and Shelves Comprehensive English Syllabus (and required materials) Arts and Craft Materials Musical Instruments All of this cost money, of course, and so we started a fundraiser using indiegogo.com as our platform. This trip is self-funded, so every cent counts, and so we are appealing to you to help us achieve our goal of giving a brighter future for the orphans. We have some really cool perks as well.
